Advanced Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field: A Senior Principal Electrical Engineer At Medtronic Must Possess A Graduate Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Or Physics.
Extensive Experience In Medical Device Design: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Designing Medical Devices, With A Focus On Cardiac Ablation Solutions. This Includes Experience With Product Development, Testing, And Commercialization.
Expertise In Electrical Circuit Design: A Senior Principal Electrical Engineer Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Electrical Circuit Design Principles And Be Able To Apply Them To The Development Of Medical Devices. This Includes Experience With Analog And Digital Circuit Design, Signal Processing, And Power Management.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills To Oversee The Development Of Complex Medical Devices. Candidates Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Projects From Concept To Commercialization.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: Medtronic Is A Highly Regulated Industry, And A Senior Principal Electrical Engineer Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements, Including Fda And Iso Standards. Experience With Regulatory Submissions And Approvals Is Also Preferred.
