- Develop and implement innovative packaging solutions for a wide range of medical devices and products.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and medical device industry standards in all packaging designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop packaging solutions that meet those needs.
- Conduct packaging feasibility studies and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the design, testing, and validation of packaging materials and processes.
- Manage packaging projects from conception to launch, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Continuously evaluate and improve packaging processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in packaging technology.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers for packaging materials and equipment.
- Train and mentor junior packaging engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of packaging strategies and initiatives.
- Participate in risk assessments and ensure packaging designs meet safety and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize packaging design, materials, and processes.
- Troubleshoot packaging issues and provide solutions to ensure product quality and integrity.
- Develop and maintain packaging documentation, including drawings, specifications, and procedures.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In The Medical Device Industry, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Packaging Design And Development.
Bachelor's Degree In Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Extensive Knowledge Of Packaging Materials, Processes, And Regulations In The Medical Device Industry, Including Iso 11607 And Fda Regulations.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Complex Packaging Projects From Concept To Commercialization.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Packaging-Related Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner.
