  1. Design and develop software for Medtronic's medical devices, ensuring high quality and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  3. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in medical device software to continuously improve our products.
  5. Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team, providing technical support and guidance.
  6. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of software projects, while adhering to regulatory and company standards.
  7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
  8. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and propose solutions to overcome them.

  13. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test protocols.
  14. Actively participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress and any potential roadblocks.
  15. Represent Medtronic in a professional manner and adhere to company values and code of conduct at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C++, Python, And Java

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Medical Device Software Development

  • Strong Knowledge Of Software Development Life Cycle And Regulatory Standards (E.g. Fda, Iso)

  • Experience In Developing Embedded Software For Medical Devices And Working With Cross-Functional Teams (E.g. Hardware Engineers, Clinical Specialists)
