  1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes for refurbished medical devices to ensure high quality and efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and optimize refurbishment operations.
  3. Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  6. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on manufacturing processes and procedures.
  7. Lead root cause analysis and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the refurbishment process.
  8. Stay updated on industry advancements and technology to continuously improve processes and products.
  9. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on new product designs to ensure manufacturability and quality.
  10. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components for production.
  11. Manage and maintain equipment and tools used in the refurbishment process.
  12. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols in the manufacturing facility.
  13. Communicate regularly with management and other stakeholders on project status, challenges, and successes.
  14. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
  15. Adhere to Medtronic's mission, values, and code of conduct in all aspects of job responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Manufacturing Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Engineering Role, With A Strong Background In Refurbishment Operations. This Should Include Experience With Equipment Maintenance, Process Improvement, And Quality Control.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Device Industry Regulations: Medtronic Is A Highly Regulated Company, And The Senior Manufacturing Engineer For Refurbishment Operations Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Regulations Such As Fda Requirements, Iso Standards, And Other Relevant Guidelines.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Role, The Candidate Must Have Proven Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Engineers And Technicians. They Should Also Possess Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Plan, Execute, And Monitor Projects To Meet Deadlines And Achieve Objectives.
