  1. Develop and implement strategic internal communications plans to drive employee engagement and alignment with company's mission and goals.
  2. Create and deliver compelling and informative messages to employees that align with the overall company narrative.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide strategic communication support.
  4. Manage and maintain internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, and email communications.
  5. Ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all internal communication channels.
  6. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
  7. Plan and execute town hall meetings, employee events, and other internal communication initiatives.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to understand their communication needs and provide strategic guidance.
  9. Serve as a communication advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance on best practices for effective communication.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in internal communication to continuously improve communication strategies.
  11. Manage a budget for internal communication initiatives and ensure resources are being used effectively.
  12. Lead and mentor a team of internal communication professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  13. Collaborate with external communication teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with external communications strategies.
  14. Uphold Medtronic's values and culture and promote a positive and inclusive work environment through internal communication efforts.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the Diabetes division by promoting a strong internal communication culture that drives employee engagement and supports business objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Corporate Communications, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Role

  • Experience In The Healthcare Industry, Particularly In The Diabetes Space

  • Strong Understanding Of Internal Communications Best Practices And Strategies, With A Track Record Of Successful Implementation

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Stakeholders Simultaneously
