
Senior Hardware Test Engineer

- Design and execute testing protocols and procedures, including creating test plans and identifying appropriate testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and debug any hardware issues that arise during testing, and work with cross-functional teams to find solutions.
- Analyze test data and provide recommendations for improvements or modifications to hardware design.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure timely completion of testing and product development.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hardware testing methods, and implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines for medical device testing.
- Document and report on testing results, including any issues or concerns that may impact product performance or safety.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on hardware design based on testing results.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on testing procedures and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized test environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to coordinate testing efforts and ensure timely delivery of components.
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate progress and any potential roadblocks to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all testing activities and results.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hardware Testing, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry
Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Guidelines
Experience With Design Verification And Validation Processes, Including Test Plan Development And Execution
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Hardware Systems And Identify Root Causes Of Issues.
