  1. Lead and coordinate design assurance activities for the development and launch of medical devices.
  2. Ensure compliance with FDA and ISO regulations and standards for medical devices.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  4. Utilize design control processes to ensure that all design requirements are met and documented.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and regulatory, to ensure the successful development and launch of medical devices.
  6. Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure product performance and safety.
  7. Conduct thorough and timely reviews of design documentation and test results to identify and address any potential issues.
  8. Provide technical expertise and support to other team members and departments.
  9. Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for product improvements.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to medical device design and quality assurance.
  11. Mentor and train junior design assurance engineers.
  12. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting design assurance updates and reports.
  13. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the design assurance processes and ensure the highest level of quality.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  15. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its reputation for excellence in medical device design.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Medical Device Design Assurance, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Iso Standards Related To Medical Device Design And Development.

  • Experience With Risk Management, Design Verification And Validation, And Design Control Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Cross-Functional Team Environment.
