  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical research projects, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee and manage all aspects of clinical studies, including study design, protocol development, data collection and analysis, and reporting.
  3. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards in the conduct of clinical trials.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory affairs, marketing, and medical affairs, to ensure timely and successful completion of clinical studies.
  5. Provide leadership and guidance to junior clinical scientists and other team members.
  6. Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify trends, issues, and potential risks, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical research and provide expert input and recommendations to support product development and commercialization.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders to facilitate clinical research collaborations and partnerships.
  9. Participate in scientific conferences, workshops, and other events to stay abreast of industry developments and trends.
  10. Maintain a high level of scientific and technical expertise in relevant therapeutic areas and demonstrate a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the clinical research team.
  12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all aspects of work.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  14. Contribute to the overall success of the company by actively participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Related Field: A Senior Clinical Scientist At Medtronic Should Possess An Advanced Degree In A Field Related To Healthcare Or Medical Science, Such As A Phd, Md, Or Pharmd.

  • Extensive Clinical Research Experience: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience Conducting Clinical Research, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. This Includes Experience With Study Design, Data Collection And Analysis, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: Medtronic Is A Highly Regulated Company, And A Senior Clinical Scientist Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines For Clinical Research, As Well As International Standards Such As Iso 14155.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Senior Clinical Scientist Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Complex Clinical Data And Making Strategic Recommendations Based On Their Findings. They Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Their Findings To Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Leadership And Project Management Experience: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage Cross-Functional Teams, As Well As Oversee Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Clinical Research Projects From Start To Finish.
