  1. Develop and maintain accurate mappings of clinical data for Medtronic's Clinical Affairs Systems (CAS).
  2. Ensure the safety and efficacy of Medtronic's medical devices by utilizing data mapping techniques.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze clinical data and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Utilize your strong background in clinical affairs to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  5. Continuously monitor and assess clinical data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  6. Provide guidance and support to junior mapping specialists to ensure accuracy and consistency in data mapping.
  7. Conduct thorough research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in medical technology.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on data mapping progress.
  9. Work closely with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  10. Develop and maintain documentation related to data mapping processes and procedures.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure accurate and timely data mapping.
  12. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline data mapping processes.
  13. Support the implementation of new clinical data mapping software or tools.
  14. Participate in meetings and presentations to share insights and updates on data mapping progress.
  15. Stay organized and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of data mapping tasks.
  16. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive clinical data.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Computer Science, Engineering, Or Geospatial Information Systems.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Geographic Information Systems (Gis) And Mapping, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Proficiency In Using Mapping Software Such As Arcgis, Qgis, Or Mapinfo.

  • Experience With Data Analysis And Visualization Tools, Such As Tableau Or Power Bi.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards Related To Mapping And Tracking Medical Devices, Such As Fda Unique Device Identifier (Udi) Regulations.
