Security Support Analyst

Medtronic is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Security Support Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the security of our IT systems, networks, and applications. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of security protocols.To be successful in this position, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and a minimum of three years of experience in IT security or a related field. You should also have experience with network security protocols and be familiar with industry best practices for security. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and maintain IT system security, networks, and applications according to industry best practices.
2. Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures for the organization.
3. Analyze security logs and identify security breaches and other anomalies.
4. Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and take corrective action.
5. Troubleshoot network security issues and provide solutions.
6. Research and stay up to date on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
7. Train and educate other users on IT security policies and procedures.
8. Create and maintain documentation related to IT security procedures and protocols.
9. Work closely with IT teams to ensure secure configurations.
10. Investigate and identify the root cause of security incidents.
