  1. Develop and implement training programs for the sales team to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively sell monitoring products in the acute care division.
  2. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to continuously improve the sales team's understanding of the healthcare industry and product knowledge.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze market data and customer feedback to develop effective training strategies.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure maximum impact on sales performance.
  5. Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online modules, to support the sales team's ongoing development.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to individual sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales training and incorporate them into training programs.
  8. Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and address knowledge and skill gaps within the team.
  9. Plan and coordinate sales training events, including national sales meetings and product launches.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert for the monitoring portfolio in the acute care division, providing support and guidance to the sales team as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Acute Care And Monitoring Products: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Medtronic's Acute Care And Monitoring Product Portfolio, Including Their Features, Benefits, And Competitive Landscape. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Train And Coach Sales Teams On How To Position And Sell These Products.

  • Proven Experience In Sales Training And Development: The Sales Training Program Manager Should Have A Track Record Of Designing And Delivering Successful Sales Training Programs, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. They Should Also Have Experience In Monitoring And Measuring The Effectiveness Of These Programs To Ensure Continuous Improvement.

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Sales Training Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Delivering Engaging And Informative Training Sessions To Sales Teams. Therefore, They Must Have Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills To Effectively Convey Complex Information And Keep The Audience Engaged.

  • Ability To Develop And Implement Training Strategies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing Comprehensive Training Strategies That Align With The Company's Overall Goals And Objectives. They Should Also Have The Ability To Implement These Strategies And Measure Their Impact On Sales Performance.

  • Knowledge Of Adult Learning Principles: A Successful Sales Training Program Manager Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And How To Apply Them In A Sales Training Context. This Will Enable Them To Design And Deliver Training Programs That Cater To Different Learning Styles And Engage Sales Representatives At All Levels Of Experience.
