  1. Conduct reliability testing and analysis on Medtronic's medical devices to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential reliability issues and develop solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive reliability plans and protocols for new and existing products.
  4. Utilize statistical analysis and risk assessment techniques to identify potential failure modes and implement preventative measures.
  5. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any reliability issues.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends related to reliability engineering and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  7. Work closely with Product Development and Quality teams to ensure reliability requirements are incorporated into product design and manufacturing processes.
  8. Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the reliability of Medtronic's products and processes.
  9. Provide technical expertise and support to other departments within the organization, including manufacturing, quality, and regulatory.
  10. Generate and maintain technical documentation and reports related to reliability engineering activities.
  11. Train and mentor other team members on reliability engineering principles and best practices.
  12. Adhere to all relevant safety and compliance standards and regulations.
  13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including presenting complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  14. Represent Medtronic at industry events and conferences to stay informed on best practices and advancements in reliability engineering.
  15. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the reliability engineering team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Reliability Engineering Role, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Proficiency In Reliability Engineering Tools And Techniques Such As Fmea, Halt, And Weibull Analysis.

  • Strong Understanding Of Quality And Regulatory Requirements, Including Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Lead Root Cause Analysis And Implement Corrective Actions.
