  1. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for all chemistry-related aspects of our medical devices.
  2. Conduct thorough and comprehensive testing and analysis of materials and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company requirements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, utilizing knowledge of chemistry principles and engineering practices.
  4. Continuously monitor and improve the quality control processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and efficacy of our medical devices.
  6. Communicate and report quality-related issues and updates to relevant stakeholders, including management, regulatory agencies, and customers.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines related to chemistry and quality assurance in the medical device industry.
  8. Provide technical expertise and support to other team members, including training and mentoring as needed.
  9. Participate in product development and manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards are met throughout the entire product life cycle.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in chemistry and quality engineering to continuously improve processes and enhance product quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry Or Related Field - A Strong Foundation In Chemistry Is Essential For A Quality Engineer In The Medical Device Industry. A Degree In Chemistry Or A Related Field Demonstrates A Solid Understanding Of Chemical Principles And Laboratory Techniques.

  • Previous Experience In Medical Device Industry - Quality Engineers At Medtronic Must Have Previous Experience In The Medical Device Industry. This Allows Them To Understand The Unique Challenges And Regulations Associated With Producing Medical Devices And Ensures That They Are Familiar With Industry Standards And Best Practices.

  • Knowledge Of Iso And Fda Regulations - Quality Engineers Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Iso And Fda Regulations As They Pertain To The Medical Device Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Quality Management Systems, Documentation Requirements, And Risk Management Processes.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills - Quality Engineers Must Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Identify And Resolve Issues That May Arise During The Manufacturing Process. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Root Causes, And Implement Corrective And Preventive Actions.

  • Attention To Detail - In The Medical Device Industry, Even The Smallest Error Can Have Serious Consequences. Quality Engineers Must Have Exceptional Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Products Meet The Highest Quality Standards And Comply With All Regulatory Requirements.
