  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the Surgical Safety product portfolio, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  3. Create and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring timely development and launch of new products and enhancements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and regulatory, to drive product development and launch.
  5. Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch to end-of-life, including pricing, positioning, and promotion.
  6. Monitor and analyze product performance and market trends, making recommendations for product improvements and enhancements.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and industry stakeholders.
  8. Stay current on industry and regulatory changes, and ensure product compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  9. Lead product training and education initiatives for internal teams and external customers.
  10. Work closely with sales teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics.
  11. Communicate product updates and developments to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  12. Manage product budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert for Surgical Safety products, providing support and guidance to internal teams and external customers.
  14. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the Surgical Safety product portfolio.
  15. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events.
  16. Adhere to company values, policies, and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Surgical Safety Practices: A Product Manager At Medtronic Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Surgical Safety Practices, Including Infection Control, Sterilization, And Patient Safety Protocols. This Knowledge Is Essential For Developing And Managing Products That Meet The Highest Standards Of Safety.

  • Experience In Product Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. This Experience Should Include Product Development, Launch, And Post-Market Surveillance.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Product Manager, You Will Be Working With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineers, Sales, Marketing, And Regulatory Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Collaborating Effectively And Achieving Company Goals.

  • Business Acumen: A Successful Product Manager Should Have A Strong Business Sense, Including Knowledge Of Market Trends, Competitive Landscape, And Financial Analysis. This Skill Is Crucial For Making Strategic Decisions And Managing The Product Portfolio Effectively.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field: A Product Manager At Medtronic Should Have A Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Management, Or Business Administration.
