Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Cardiac Surgery team at Medtronic. The ideal candidate must possess a unique combination of technical and business acumen, have a proven track record of success, and be passionate about making a difference in the lives of cardiac surgery patients. This position requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience in product management, and experience in the medical device or related industry. The successful candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a deep understanding of the product development process. A background in cardiac surgery or cardiovascular devices is preferred.We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, a self-starter, and able to work independently, as well as collaborate with a team. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement product strategies and plans that align with the company’s business objectives and goals.
  2. Lead product development, launch, and post-launch activities to ensure successful product launch and implementation.
  3. Manage the product life cycle from concept to post-launch, including regulatory, marketing, and sales strategies.
  4. Monitor the product performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure product success.
  5. Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify customer needs and develop product solutions to address those needs.
  6. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, efficacy, and marketability.
  7. Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure product features, pricing, and availability meet customer needs.
  8. Prepare presentations and provide product training to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Develop and manage product budgets and forecasts.
  10. Analyze competitor products and suggest product improvements.
