- Lead product development process: Manage the entire product development process from ideation to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory to ensure successful and timely product launches.
- Conduct market research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and conduct market research to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing products. Use this information to inform product strategy and development plans.
- Develop product roadmaps: Create and maintain product roadmaps that align with company goals and market demands. Continuously evaluate and adjust roadmaps based on changing market conditions and business priorities.
- Manage product lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including product launch, market penetration, maturity, and end-of-life. Develop strategies to extend product life and increase profitability.
- Set pricing and positioning: Work with marketing and sales teams to develop pricing strategies and positioning of products in the market. Analyze market data and competitor pricing to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing: Support sales and marketing efforts by providing product knowledge, training, and collateral. Work closely with these teams to ensure alignment and success in achieving sales targets.
- Ensure regulatory compliance: Understand and comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines in the healthcare industry. Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams to ensure product compliance.
- Monitor product performance: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to address any issues and optimize product performance.
- Manage product budgets: Develop and manage product budgets, ensuring that expenses align with projected revenue and are within company guidelines.
- Cultivate strong relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, customers, and industry partners. Represent the company and its products at conferences, events, and other industry gatherings.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Product Management Or Related Field, Preferably Within The Medical Device Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Engineering, Or A Related Field. Advanced Degree Or Mba Preferred.
Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Regulatory And Reimbursement Processes.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Managing New Products From Ideation To Commercialization.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders To Drive Product Strategy And Execution.
