  1. Develop and refine extrusion processes for medical device manufacturing.
  2. Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to extrusion processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize product performance.
  4. Conduct research and stay updated on industry advancements in extrusion technology.
  5. Design experiments and analyze data to identify areas for process optimization.
  6. Lead process validation activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Create and maintain detailed documentation of all process development activities.
  8. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on extrusion processes.
  9. Communicate project progress and results to management and other stakeholders.
  10. Continuously evaluate and implement new techniques and tools to improve extrusion processes.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and qualify new materials and components for extrusion processes.
  12. Participate in design reviews and provide input to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
  14. Maintain a high level of quality and productivity while meeting project deadlines.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert for extrusion processes and provide support to other departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Familiarity With Fda Regulations And Iso Standards For Medical Device Manufacturing.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Process Development And Validation For Medical Device Extrusion.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Extrusion Processes, Materials, And Equipment Used In Medical Device Manufacturing.

  • Experience With Statistical Process Control (Spc) And Design Of Experiments (Doe) For Process Optimization And Validation.
