Principal Statistician - Structural Heart & Aortic

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Principal Statistician - Structural Heart & Aortic to join the team at Medtronic. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading all statistical aspects of clinical research projects and studies for Structural Heart & Aortic products. You will be expected to lead and mentor a team of statisticians and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as Regulatory, Clinical and Research & Development.To be successful in this role, you must possess a master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or similar field, and at least 5 years of experience as a Statistician in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry. In addition, you must have strong knowledge of SAS and CDISC, as well as experience leading and managing a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, will also be essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and lead all statistical aspects of clinical research projects and studies for Structural Heart & Aortic products.
2. Lead and mentor a team of statisticians.
3. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as Regulatory, Clinical and Research & Development.
4. Ensure completion of deliverables to meet timeline and quality expectations.
5. Develop statistical methods and analytical strategies for clinical trials.
6. Provide statistical input to regulatory submissions.
7. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
8. Develop, maintain and promote best practices in statistical programming and analysis.
9. Train and mentor junior statisticians and other team members.
10. Utilize SAS and CDISC to generate analysis datasets and tables, figures, and listings.
