  7. Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members.

  10. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate into software development process.
  11. Stay updated on relevant technologies and tools and recommend their implementation as needed.

  13. Monitor and analyze software performance metrics and make necessary improvements.

  15. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Developing Software For Surgical Operating Units, With A Strong Understanding Of Programming Languages Such As C++, Java, And Python.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Operating Units: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Surgical Operating Units And The Associated Software Systems. This Includes Knowledge Of Medical Device Regulations And Standards, As Well As Experience With Surgical Procedures And Workflows.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Principal Software Engineer, The Candidate Should Have Proven Leadership Skills And The Ability To Lead A Team Of Engineers. This Includes Setting Project Goals, Managing Timelines And Budgets, And Providing Guidance And Mentorship To Other Team Members.

  • Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background With A Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field. They Should Also Have Experience With Software Design, Development Methodologies, And Testing Techniques.

  • Communication And Collaboration: The Principal Software Engineer Will Be Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product Managers, Engineers, And Clinicians. Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively Are Essential For Success In This Role.
