Principal Molding Engineer

Medtronic is seeking an experienced, motivated Principal Molding Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Molding Engineer, you will be responsible for leading molding development, process optimization, and validation activities. You must have a strong technical background in the molding field, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead complex projects. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients, we want to hear from you.Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Plastic, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in medical device or other highly regulated industry • Experienced in designing and developing production processes for injection molded and extruded components • Expertise in the design and optimization of injection molding tools and the processes associated with them • Strong track record of successful projects and process improvements • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Knowledge of design control and risk management processes • Working knowledge of relevant medical device regulations • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident If you are ready to join a world-class engineering team and help make a difference in the lives of patients, we want to hear from you!
