- Analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend IT solutions to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Medtronic's Cranial & Spinal Technologies OU products, services, and industry trends.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify new or emerging technologies that can enhance our business operations.
- Work closely with IT teams to design, implement, and test new systems and enhancements.
- Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements, process flows, and user acceptance test cases.
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders, including management, business partners, and IT teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT systems, processes, and data.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and functionalities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in IT business analysis to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior business analysts in the team.

- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the Cranial & Spinal Technologies OU team and across the organization.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness in delivering IT solutions.
Extensive Experience In It Business Analysis: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In It Business Analysis, With At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Business Processes And Systems, And Be Able To Translate Business Requirements Into Technical Solutions.
Knowledge Of Medical Device Industry: As A Principal It Business Analyst At Medtronic's Cranial & Spinal Technologies Ou, The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Medical Device Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements, Industry Standards, And Best Practices.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Of Business Analysts And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Experience With Software Development Life Cycle (Sdlc): The Principal It Business Analyst Will Be Responsible For Managing The Entire Sdlc For It Projects, From Requirements Gathering To Implementation And Maintenance. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Methodologies, Such As Agile And Waterfall, And Be Able To Adapt To The Needs Of The Organization.
Business Acumen And Strategic Thinking: In Addition To Technical Expertise, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And Strategic Thinking Skills.
