  1. Lead the design and development of equipment used in the manufacturing of medical devices.
  2. Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment, ensuring it meets safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the best equipment solutions for specific manufacturing needs.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and optimize equipment performance.
  5. Develop and maintain equipment specifications, protocols, and validation plans.
  6. Create and update equipment documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in equipment technology to drive innovation.
  10. Mentor and train junior engineers on equipment engineering best practices.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  12. Participate in project planning and budgeting activities.
  13. Communicate equipment status and progress to project teams and management.
  14. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives for equipment maintenance and operations.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert on equipment-related topics and provide guidance to other departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Equipment Design, Development, And Testing.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Device Regulations And Standards, Such As Fda Qsr And Iso 13485.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Solidworks Or Autocad, And Experience With Manufacturing Processes Such As Cnc Machining And Injection Molding.
