  1. Develop and maintain embedded software for Medtronic's medical devices, ensuring they meet high quality and safety standards.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, product managers, and quality assurance, to design and implement software solutions.
  3. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to identify and resolve any issues.
  4. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in embedded systems to continuously improve software development processes.
  5. Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  6. Participate in the development of project plans and timelines, and ensure timely completion of software deliverables.
  7. Identify and address any potential risks or challenges in the software development process.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.
  9. Continuously monitor and improve software performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  10. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate software components into the overall system.
  11. Communicate complex technical concepts and project updates to non-technical stakeholders.
  12. Conduct research and recommend new software tools and technologies to improve the development process.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical support to other teams within the organization.
  14. Continuously strive to improve the user experience and functionality of Medtronic's medical devices through software development.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Embedded Software Development, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As C/C++, Embedded Linux, And Real-Time Operating Systems.

  • Experience With Software Development Life Cycle Processes And Regulatory Requirements For Medical Devices, Such As Iec 62304.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team Of Embedded Software Engineers, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
