- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and regulatory to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in medical technology to inform product development.
- Develop and maintain product specifications, requirements, and design documentation.
- Oversee and mentor a team of development engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the product development process.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues during the development process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the medical device industry.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to upper management and stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality in product development.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and techniques in engineering and incorporate them into product development when applicable.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and other team meetings to foster innovation and collaboration.
- Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure product safety and efficacy.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from product development to production.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical support to other departments as needed.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Engineering, Preferably In Electrical, Mechanical, Or Biomedical Engineering.
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Product Development, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing Cross-Functional Teams.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Design Control Processes, Risk Management, And Regulatory Requirements For Medical Devices.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With A Track Record Of Successfully Launching New Products To Market.
