Principal Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Principal Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance team at Medtronic. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and accuracy of information for projects and processes assigned to you. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Law, Finance, etc.) and 5+ years of experience in a compliance or related role. You should have deep knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices, as well as a strong understanding of compliance processes and systems. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
2. Monitor and review processes and projects to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy of information.
3. Develop and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders to support compliance initiatives.
4. Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure compliance objectives are met.
5. Develop and implement systems to support compliance goals.
6. Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters.
7. Monitor and analyze trends in the industry and develop strategies to respond to changes in regulations.
8. Analyze and interpret industry regulations and guidance.
9. Produce reports to document compliance activities and results.
10. Participate in internal and external audits as required.
