Are you a highly skilled mapping specialist with a passion for improving patient outcomes? Medtronic is seeking a Principal Affera Mapping Specialist to join our team in the Midwest region. In this role, you will play a critical role in advancing our cutting-edge Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) technology. We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in mapping techniques and a deep understanding of electrophysiology.   1. Develop and implement mapping strategies to support the advancement of Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Solutions technology.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of mapping techniques to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of mapping techniques into the overall CAS technology.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on mapping techniques and provide guidance and support to team members.
  5. Stay abreast of industry advancements and trends related to mapping techniques and apply them to enhance Medtronic's technology.
  6. Train and educate team members on the proper use and application of mapping techniques.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to gather insights and feedback on mapping techniques.
  8. Participate in clinical trials and studies to evaluate the effectiveness of mapping techniques in improving patient outcomes.
  9. Contribute to the development of product documentation and marketing materials related to mapping techniques.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve mapping processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements related to mapping techniques and data collection.
  12. Represent Medtronic at industry conferences and events to showcase our mapping capabilities.
  13. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue business opportunities related to mapping techniques.
  14. Act as a mentor to junior mapping specialists and provide guidance and support as needed.
  15. Maintain a high level of expertise in electrophysiology and mapping techniques to support the overall success of the CAS technology.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Or Information Technology.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Affairs And Medical Device Mapping, With A Focus On Cardiac Ablation Systems.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Electrophysiology And Experience With Mapping Technologies, Including Carto 3, Rhythmia, And Ensite.

  • Proven Ability To Lead And Manage Complex Mapping Projects, Including Training And Mentoring Team Members.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Data To Internal And External Stakeholders.
