As an OpEx Engineer at Medtronic, you will play a critical role in driving process improvement initiatives and implementing best practices across our operations.   1. Develop and implement process improvement strategies and initiatives to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  2. Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement, utilizing lean principles and tools.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvement projects.
  4. Lead and facilitate process improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and successful implementation.
  5. Create and maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and best practices.
  6. Train and mentor employees on process improvement methodologies and tools.
  7. Monitor and measure process performance, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks.
  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement standardized processes across departments.
  9. Continuously seek out new opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in process improvement and bring new ideas to the team.
  11. Communicate progress and results of process improvement initiatives to management and other key stakeholders.
  12. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  13. Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance team performance.
  14. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with all team members and departments.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Or Operations Excellence

  • Strong Understanding Of Lean Principles And Methodologies Such As Six Sigma, Kaizen, And Value Stream Mapping

  • Experience With Project Management And Leading Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Process Optimization

  • Familiarity With Medical Device Industry Regulations And Standards, Such As Fda Guidelines And Iso 13485, Is Preferred.
