  1. Conduct metallurgical analysis and testing on a variety of materials to identify their properties and suitability for use in medical devices.
  2. Utilize your expertise in metallurgy to develop and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of our medical devices.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product designers, to provide metallurgical support and guidance throughout the product development process.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in metallurgical technology, and use this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within our organization.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot any metallurgical issues that may arise during the manufacturing process, and implement effective solutions to ensure timely production and delivery of our products.
  6. Work closely with suppliers to select and qualify materials that meet our strict quality and safety standards.
  7. Train and mentor junior metallurgists and other team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to support their professional growth and development.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all metallurgical testing and analysis, and prepare reports to communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Metallurgical Engineering Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Metallurgical Analysis And Testing.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Metal Properties, Manufacturing Processes, And Quality Control Procedures.

  • Experience With Medical Device Materials And Regulations, Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Guidelines.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team.
