  1. Develop and improve extrusion processes for medical devices, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
  2. Utilize materials science and engineering principles to evaluate and select appropriate materials for use in extrusion processes.
  3. Conduct research and experiments to identify new materials and techniques that can enhance extrusion processes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide technical expertise on material selection and process optimization.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the extrusion process, ensuring product quality and meeting production deadlines.
  6. Maintain and calibrate extrusion equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in extrusion technology, and make recommendations for incorporating new techniques into our processes.
  8. Generate and maintain documentation, including process specifications, standard operating procedures, and test reports.
  9. Train and mentor other engineers and technicians on extrusion processes and techniques.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when working with extrusion equipment and materials.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Materials Engineering Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Extrusion Processes, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Materials Testing, Including Mechanical, Thermal, And Rheological Properties.

  • Familiarity With Fda Regulations And Quality Standards For Medical Device Materials.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Collaborative Environment, With Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills.
