Machine Operator

Operate light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as automated blast machines, inspection, implant processing. Set up machining machines and make adjustments and perform maintenance on machines. Check work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Learn and understand all tooling and set-up aids by part family, by part size. Load and unload tooling efficiently. One tool with part running its cycle (2-3 mins.) and loading/setting next tool with next part in lot. Ability to detect implant shade differences between fully processed and unprocessed implants through the specified blast operation. Stop the line at any signs of problems and investigate. Monitor process controls and document the completion and in process inspection of process steps on the appropriate quality records (routers & DHR’s). Use bar code readers to update product lot location information in Titan Spine’s inventory management system. Utilize ERP entry system for count, lot, production and quality accuracy.
