  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber defense strategy to protect Medtronic's critical systems and data.
  2. Lead a team of IT professionals to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses and recommend mitigation strategies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cyber defense measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
  5. Stay informed about the latest cyber security threats and trends, and proactively implement measures to prevent them.
  6. Manage the company's incident response plan and oversee the investigation and resolution of any cyber security incidents.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance cyber defense capabilities.
  8. Maintain and report on key cyber security metrics to senior management.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cyber security.
  10. Mentor and train team members on cyber security best practices and technologies.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve the company's cyber defense processes and procedures.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on cyber security for the company, providing guidance and recommendations to various stakeholders.
  13. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, about the company's cyber defense posture and any potential risks.
  14. Participate in industry conferences and events to stay current on emerging cyber security trends and best practices.
  15. Foster a culture of cyber security awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Knowledge And Experience In Cyber Security And Defense, Including Familiarity With Industry Best Practices And Regulatory Compliance Standards.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Leading A Team In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic It Environment, With The Ability To Prioritize And Delegate Tasks Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Cyber Security Strategies And Protocols, As Well As Conducting Risk Assessments And Developing Response Plans.

  • Relevant Certification In Cyber Security, Such As Cissp Or Cism, And A Strong Understanding Of Network And System Security Protocols And Tools.
