  1. Develop and improve injection molding processes for medical devices in alignment with Medtronic's quality standards.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and validate new products and processes.
  3. Utilize engineering principles and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to injection molding.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to ensure product safety and reliability.
  5. Continuously monitor and optimize injection molding processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  6. Stay updated with industry advancements and trends in injection molding technology and apply them to product development.
  7. Create and maintain detailed documentation of injection molding processes, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and design specifications.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Medtronic's quality management system.
  9. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on injection molding techniques and best practices.
  10. Participate in project planning and provide inputs on feasibility, timelines, and resources required for successful execution.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers to source and qualify new materials and equipment for injection molding processes.
  12. Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs to optimize product design for manufacturability.
  13. Communicate project updates and status reports to stakeholders and management.
  14. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing principles.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field

  • 3-5 Years Of Experience In Injection Molding, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry

  • Experience With Design For Manufacturability And Process Optimization

  • Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Iso Standards Related To Injection Molding Processes

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues In A Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment.
