  1. Develop and implement comprehensive environmental health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, and develop corrective and preventative actions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks in new product development and existing operations.
  5. Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  6. Monitor and analyze environmental impact data and develop strategies to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
  7. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to environmental health and safety.
  8. Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  9. Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans to ensure preparedness for potential crises.
  10. Lead sustainability initiatives and promote environmentally responsible practices within the organization.
  11. Partner with HR to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
  12. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the company's environmental and safety standards.
  13. Develop and manage budgets for environmental health and safety programs.
  14. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on environmental health and safety performance and recommend improvements.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to environmental health and safety activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Medical Device Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental And Safety Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols And Regulations.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Environmental And Safety Policies And Procedures To Ensure Compliance And Reduce Risk.
