Job Description

  1. Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  2. Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental health and safety laws and regulations.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety procedures and policies.
  5. Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  6. Investigate and report on any workplace accidents or incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to environmental health and safety.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
  9. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to minimize workplace hazards.
  10. Monitor and track safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  11. Communicate and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  12. Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
  13. Collaborate with HR and management to ensure effective integration of safety protocols into company policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to environmental health and safety.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve safety processes and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  16. Serve as a resource for employees regarding safety concerns and provide guidance and support as needed.
  17. Assist with the development and implementation of safety training programs.
  18. Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  19. Participate in safety committee meetings and provide recommendations for improvement.
  20. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to environmental health and safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health And Safety Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Medical Device Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Osha And Other Regulatory Compliance Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols.

  • Certification In Relevant Areas Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Occupational Health And Safety Technologist (Ohst) Is A Plus.
