We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Manager to join our team and manage our Diabetes product portfolio in your designated district. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and increasing market share for our innovative and life-changing diabetes products. As a District Sales Manager, you will lead a team of sales representatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.   1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to increase market share and achieve sales targets for the Diabetes product portfolio in the designated district.
  2. Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive individual and team performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics, to promote and sell Medtronic Diabetes products.
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  6. Train and educate sales representatives on product features, benefits, and market positioning to effectively promote and sell Medtronic Diabetes products.
  7. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to sales representatives to drive continuous improvement and achieve sales targets.
  8. Manage and track sales performance data, analyze results, and develop action plans to address any gaps or opportunities.
  9. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including but not limited to sales reporting and expense management.
  10. Represent Medtronic at industry events and conferences, and actively participate in networking and business development opportunities.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and advancements in the Diabetes market, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and provide insights to the organization.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a customer-centric approach to achieving business goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Education: A District Sales Manager, Diabetes At Medtronic Should Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field. A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Is Preferred.

  • Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sales Management, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry, Is Required For This Role. Experience In Diabetes Or Other Chronic Disease Management Is Highly Desirable.

  • Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading A Team Of Sales Professionals And Achieving Sales Targets. They Should Also Possess Strong Communication, Coaching, And Mentoring Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate Their Team.

  • Industry Knowledge: A Deep Understanding Of The Diabetes Market, Including Current Trends, Competitive Landscape, And Key Stakeholders, Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Reimbursement And Regulatory Landscape.

  • Strategic Thinking: The District Sales Manager Should Be Able To Develop And Execute Strategic Sales Plans To Drive Growth And Maximize Market Potential. They Should Also Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Track And Analyze Sales Data And Make Data-Driven Decisions.
