  • Conduct patient education sessions, both in-person and virtually, to teach patients about diabetes management techniques and strategies.
  • Develop personalized care plans for patients based on their individual needs, goals, and lifestyle.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients and their families to help them effectively manage their condition.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and developments in diabetes management and incorporate them into patient education and care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other members of the diabetes care team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  • Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, to effectively educate patients.
  • Serve as a resource for patients and their families, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing additional support and guidance as needed.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills related to diabetes management.
  • Represent Medtronic at conferences and events, promoting our products and services and educating healthcare professionals on the latest advancements in diabetes management.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing, Nutrition, Or A Related Healthcare Field.

  • Certified Diabetes Educator (Cde) Designation From The National Certification Board For Diabetes Educators (Ncbde).

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In Diabetes Education, Preferably In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Diabetes Management, Including Insulin Therapy And Continuous Glucose Monitoring (Cgm) Technology.

  • Excellent Communication And Teaching Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Support Patients With Diabetes.
