We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Consultant II to join our Enabling Technologies team. As a Clinical Consultant II, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales and adoption of our cutting-edge medical devices.   1. Provide expert clinical guidance and support to the Enabling Technologies sales team in order to drive sales and adoption of Medtronic products.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Medtronic’s medical devices and their clinical applications, as well as the competitive landscape.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer needs, concerns, and objections.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to promote the benefits of Medtronic products.
  5. Conduct product demonstrations and provide training to healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of Medtronic devices.
  6. Effectively communicate complex clinical information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, advancements, and regulations to ensure compliance and provide insights for product development.
  8. Participate in conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote Medtronic products and services.
  9. Support post-sales activities, including troubleshooting and addressing customer concerns.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and ethical standards.
  12. Represent Medtronic in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  13. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop educational materials and resources for healthcare professionals.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador and advocate for Medtronic’s mission and values.
  15. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all activities, including customer interactions and sales data.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: A Minimum Of A Bachelor’s Degree In A Relevant Field Is Required, But A Master’s Degree Or Higher Is Preferred. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In The Necessary Knowledge And Skills For The Role.

  • Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience Is Required, Preferably In A Surgical Setting. This Experience Should Include Direct Patient Care And Familiarity With Surgical Procedures, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology.

  • Product Knowledge: A Strong Understanding Of Medtronic’s Enabling Technologies Products, Including Their Function, Technology, And Clinical Applications, Is Essential For Success In This Role. Previous Experience With Medtronic Products Is Preferred.

  • Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Clinical And Non-Clinical Stakeholders Is Crucial In This Role. The Clinical Consultant Ii Must Be Able To Articulate Complex Medical Concepts In A Clear And Concise Manner And Build Relationships With Key Stakeholders.

  • Technical Aptitude: This Role Involves Working With Advanced Medical Technologies, So A Strong Technical Aptitude Is Required. The Clinical Consultant Ii Should Be Comfortable With Troubleshooting Technical Issues And Be Able To Quickly Learn And Adapt To New Technology. Experience With Medical Device Software And Troubleshooting Is A Plus.
