Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Associate Clinical Research Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. This role requires an individual with excellent organizational, research, and communication skills. The successful candidate will join our team in a highly collaborative environment and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the clinical research team.To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in life sciences, a minimum of two years of prior experience in clinical research, and a working knowledge of clinical research operational guidelines. Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented work habits, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the clinical research team, including scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing and maintaining records, and coordinating research activities.
  2. Assist in the development of clinical research protocols, data collection instruments, and other documents related to clinical research operations.
  3. Monitor and review project progress, budgets, timelines, and overall compliance with clinical research operational guidelines.
  4. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to clinical research activities.
  5. Maintain ongoing communication with clinical research team members and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects.
  6. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and ethical standards.
  7. Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify trends and potential issues.
  8. Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to improve the quality of clinical research operations.
  9. Identify and recommend solutions to any challenges or issues arising in the clinical research environment.
  10. Provide guidance and support to junior clinical research staff.
