X-ray Technologist - PRN
Are you an experienced X-ray Technologist looking for a flexible, part-time role that allows you to make a difference in people’s lives? MedStar Health is looking for a PRN X-ray Technologist to join our team to help us provide exceptional care and service to our patients. In this role, you will use your expertise in radiologic imaging to produce diagnostic quality images, and ensure the accuracy and safety of our patients.We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications: valid state licensure and/or certification in Radiologic Technology; current certification in BLS/CPR; knowledge of radiation safety measures; and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Utilize radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic quality images.
- Follow safety protocols and standards to ensure the accuracy and safety of patients.
- Maintain valid state licensure and/or certification in Radiologic Technology.
- Maintain current certification in BLS/CPR.
- Remain knowledgeable about radiation safety measures.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Provide exceptional care and service to patients.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
Certified Radiologic Technologist (Crt) License
Certified In Radiation Therapy (Crt) Or Equivalent
Experience In Operating X-Ray Equipment
Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Standards And Procedures
Ability To Read And Interpret Medical Orders
Ability To Work Accurately And Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
