Ultrasound Technologist

MedStar Health is searching for an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasounds and managing patient care.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, as well as ARDMS certification and state licensure. They should also have a minimum of two years of experience in ultrasound technology. In addition, the successful candidate should possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as they will be interacting with patients and other medical staff on a daily basis. Responsibilities: • Produce high-quality ultrasounds while managing patient care. • Ensure that all patient care meets quality standards and follows all protocols. • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients and other medical staff. • Monitor patient safety while conducting ultrasounds. • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Communicate effectively with other medical staff to ensure patient care is efficient and accurate. • Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and procedures in ultrasound technology. • Work with other medical staff to maintain accurate records and documentation. • Assist in training and orienting new ultrasound technologists. • Maintain ARDMS certification and state licensure.
