Job Description

Front-end Web Developers at the MedStar Simulation Training & Education Lab (SiTEL) craft user interfaces that enhances the learning and development of MedStar Health associates. They collaborate with colleagues and end users to understand needs and translate them into user interface designs that deliver effective, intuitive and enjoyable experiences. Front-end Web Developers analyze, design, code, test, document, implement and maintain applications using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, JQuery, and ReactJS/Angular/AngularJS/Vue or similar framework. Products include web and mobile applications that support digital, classroom, and experiential learning.

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in front-end/UI development.

  • Ability to rapidly prototype at varying levels of fidelity, from paper to functional front-end code.

  • Iteratively designs prototypes and user interface specifications

  • Creates high quality designs with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
