Therapy Aide

At MedStar Health, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Therapy Aide to join our team - dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care to patients. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about helping patients reach their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, completed Allied Health/Rehabilitative Services courses, and have at least one year of experience in the field. In addition, you must be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.The ideal applicant for this position will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate, quality care to patients, as part of a multidisciplinary team
2. Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively work with other team members to ensure patient wellness and progress
3. Assist with rehabilitative exercises, treatments, and activities, as directed by the therapist
4. Help patients reach their goals and improve their overall wellbeing
5. Document and update patient records
6. Assist with ordering supplies and equipment, as needed
7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
8. Perform any other duties as assigned by the therapist or other healthcare professionals
