- Lead and manage a team of community health advocates, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective and efficient execution of community health programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and partners to promote collaboration and build a strong network for community health initiatives
- Plan, implement, and evaluate community health programs and initiatives, ensuring they align with MedStar Health's mission and goals
- Train and educate team members on community health topics, best practices, and program-specific protocols
- Oversee data collection and analysis to track program outcomes and identify areas for improvement
- Serve as a liaison between the community, healthcare providers, and MedStar Health, advocating for the needs and concerns of community members
- Collaborate with other departments within MedStar Health to identify and address community health needs and develop strategies to improve population health
- Participate in community events, meetings, and presentations to raise awareness and promote community health programs
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in community health, healthcare policies, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for the team, promoting teamwork, diversity, and professional growth.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Community Health, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Community Health Outreach And Education.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Health Advocates.
Knowledge Of Local Community Resources And Ability To Build Partnerships With Community Organizations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advocate For Community Health Needs And Concerns.
