We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Student Nurse Extern - Stroke Neuro at MedStar Health. We are looking for someone with a passion for caring for and helping patients and their families affected by stroke.Qualifications:• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals • Previous experience in nursing or healthcare is preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment • Ability to take initiative and be proactive • Commitment to delivering compassionate care • Ability to demonstrate cultural sensitivity • Knowledge of stroke care best practices • Current CPR certification • Ability to adhere to safety and infection control standards • Ability to adhere to MedStar Health policies and procedures
