RN - Forensic Nurse Examiner

MedStar Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse - Forensic Nurse Examiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and have a passion for providing quality care to our patients. In this role, you will work in collaboration with law enforcement and medical personnel to provide timely and thorough forensic evaluations, collect evidence and provide expert witness testimony.To be successful in this role, you must have a current RN license and at least two years of experience as an RN in a clinical setting. Additionally, you must have professional experience in forensic nursing, such as conducting sexual assault exams and collecting evidence. The successful candidate will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well independently and with a team. Knowledge of regulations and standards related to forensic nursing is also essential.
