RN Critical Care Training Program

MedStar Health is seeking a highly-motivated registered nurse to join our Critical Care Training Program. In this position, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, while providing specialized care to critically ill patients. To be considered for the role, candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, a valid RN license in the state of Maryland, and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Responsibilities:

1. Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
2. Administer prescribed treatments and medications, and document patient responses.
3. Monitor patient progress and report changes in patient condition to supervisor.
4. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met.
6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
7. Comply with all established policies and procedures.
8. Participate in department meetings, staff trainings, and continuing education activities.
