
Retail Pharmacy Technician- PRN

- Dispensing Medication: The Retail Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately dispensing medication to patients according to their prescriptions.
- Customer Service: The Retail Pharmacy Technician will be the main point of contact for patients picking up their prescriptions, and will be expected to provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Medication Inventory Management: The Retail Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for managing the inventory of medications, ensuring that all medications are properly stocked and recorded.
- Patient Education: The Retail Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for educating patients on how to take their medication, potential side effects, and proper storage.

This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Mathematics, Science, And Communication Skills That Are Necessary For The Job.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) License: Medstar Health May Require Candidates For A Retail Pharmacy Technician- Prn Position To Hold A Valid Cpht License. This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Skills In Pharmacy Practice And Ensures That They Are Up-To-Date With Industry Standards.
Prior Experience In A Retail Pharmacy Setting: Candidates With Prior Experience Working In A Retail Pharmacy Setting Will Have An Advantage In The Hiring Process. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Familiarity With Prescription Processing, Inventory Management, And Customer Service.
