Retail Pharmacist - PRN

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while utilizing your expertise in retail pharmacy operations. To be a successful candidate, you must have a valid PharmD degree, a minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience, and an active Pharmacy license in the state of Maryland. You must also possess excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service to patients while filling prescriptions and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
2. Utilize expertise in retail pharmacy operations to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
3. Collaborate with other retail pharmacy staff to ensure proper inventory and stocking of medications.
4. Communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal patient care.
5. Follow all state and federal regulations related to retail pharmacy operations.
6. Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
8. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
9. Provide education and counseling to patients on the proper use of medications.
10. Monitor and review patient profiles to identify possible drug interactions or contraindications.
