Registered Nurse Special Care Nursery

MedStar Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. The successful candidate must have a valid nursing license, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. We welcome candidates with a minimum of two years of nursing experience in either a hospital or community setting. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate exemplary clinical and customer service skills, and have a positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a diverse team. Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality nursing care in a Special Care Nursery setting
• Maintain a valid nursing license
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ensure patient-centered care through a compassionate and nurturing attitude
• Provide exemplary clinical and customer service skills
• Work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Maintain a positive attitude and respect for patient confidentiality
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient health and progress and document accordingly
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
