- Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in accordance with MedStar Health's standards and protocols.
- Participate in the RN Residency Program: This individual will be responsible for actively participating in the RN Residency Program, which includes attending training sessions, completing assignments, and actively engaging in learning opportunities.
- Develop professional skills: This role requires the individual to actively seek out opportunities to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge, and to apply them in a clinical setting.
- Advance in their career: The individual will be responsible for taking advantage of opportunities for career advancement within MedStar Health, including pursuing further education and training.
- Comply with MedStar Health protocols and standards: It is the responsibility of this individual to adhere to all MedStar Health policies and procedures, including safety protocols, infection control measures, and documentation standards.

Bachelor's Degree Or Higher In Nursing From An Accredited Institution: The Rn Residency Program At Medstar Health Requires Candidates To Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing. This Educational Requirement Ensures That Candidates Have A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice.
Active Rn License In The State Of Employment: Candidates Must Possess A Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That They Are Qualified To Practice As A Nurse And Can Provide Safe And Effective Patient Care.
